Who has managed to beat DCK2 102%?

It took me I think around 7 hours to do. I'll update with the exact time whenever I open it up again. It was had but well worth the effort. I just wanted to see about how many other people have managed to do it.

Beat it many times on the SNES, 102% every time. I think I can do it in about 4 hours now.

I hate the fact it doesn't tell you which levels you got the bonus barrels in. At least it does in DKC: 3.
I think I'm around 70% currently but I'm building on it.

Yes it does. If a "!" appears behind the level name you have them all.

I was exactly the same when I first picked it up on the SNES...gonna get both of these today on the VC. 'Bout TIME.

Well I've finished the main game without bothering with any of the lost world stuff. I don't have the time or the patience (or the skill) to get 102%

I'm doing DKC right now, and that level took me a while to beat, it can be SOOOOO annoying!

Speaking of getting a 102%... are Cranky's hints always supposed to be about the DK coins'? Or does he sometimes refer to the bonus barrels?

Well I don't really listen to him because I have to save my coins for when I want to save.

i bought every of cranky kong's hints (just for a real 102% completions sake).
and he talks about pretty everything:
hidden banana places, extra lives, bonus rooms, dk coins, rubbish, etc.
if you buy one of his hints it will be FREE for all time.

I was very close to beating it when I had my SNES. I would love to restart it on the VC, but it looks HORRIBLE on my HDTV...unplayable. Turning down the resolution helps somewhat, but the game still looks pretty bad.

Wow, I'm glad to know that. Thank you! I'm at about 65 percent at the moment. Other than getting 102 percent I think it's the game's wonderful soundtrack that has me playing it so much.

Me, i have been playing the donkey kong country and super mario games since i was 2 year old :p

I beat it when I was a kid, but have not since then. I remember it being quite a challenge, what with all the coin collecting and hidden stages. This was some of the first signs of what was to come in future RARE games like Banjo Kazooie.

I'm 55% I think. I havent tried getting all of the extras yet, I've only beat the story. I guess I stoped playing once I got Final Fantasy Xll reveant Wings.

Beat DKC 2 with the 102 % when it first cam out on the SNES and recently on my *** emulator.. The Lost World i think is the best part of the entire DKC francise ...

Number 3 , well was the poorest of them all..
