Any Parodius game, I'm there. Absolutely love them. Parodius, Parodius Da!, Gokujo Parodius, Sexy Parodius, Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius... Excellent games all. We'll not get Gokujo, but we'll get Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius at some point as it was originally a SNES game.

Parodius games are my favourite shmups. It's entirely possible they appear, as a few were originally released in Europe (One for NES, one for SNES, I think). Plus of course Konami made them, and they support VC.

Gokujo Parodius is my favourite game in the entire series. From what I've heard, the Saturn version is the only version localised for the PAL market, and seeing as there's no chance of the VC ever getting Saturn, we won't see it. :(
The SNES version was truly awesome, but that was never released outside of Japan. Kid Dracul ruled!

Parodius Da! was translated to English and released in Europe on the SNES. It was known as Parodius: Non-Sense Fantasy.
The others that were released on the Super Famicom - Gokujō Parodius! and Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius - weren't released outside Japan sadly :(

Wasn't Kid Dracula a Castlevania game?

Well, sort of. It was a couple of games released as a semi-parody of the Castlevania series by Konami in the early 90's. Enjoyable they were too. Given Konami's eternal self-referentialism in the Parodius games, he was included as a playable character in the SNES version of Gokujo Parodius. A parody within a pardody... how post-modern is that?

And there goes my hopes of seeing Radiant Silva...
Just kidding. I hope Saturn support comes in the future. I WANNA PLAY THUNDER FORCE V.
