So with the lack of Wii titles currently available and exhausting all of MP3 I decided to dust off my PS2. I went out and rented GOW2 on an impulse this weekend and man am I glad I did. I missed out on the first installment but it seems like that doesn't matter as its pretty much widely regarded that the second one is better anyway. I love the greek mythology this game brings to the table. Makes the storytelling extremely interesting since all they have to do is take the basic concepts of the mythology already in place and twist it into their own tales. Thats not to say they don't deserve their credit for storytelling though as it is top notch guided by incredible artistic talent. Oh yea and the game is kinda fun too! Its an instant classic and one of the best games for PS2. Thought? Comments? Questions?

Seriously? No one at all? I hope no one has posted because they just don't want to talk about it or something cause I find it hard to believe that no one has any interest in this game. Its simply just amazing. Well you don't have to post but if you have a PS2 and do not own this game you are doing youself a huge disservice as a gamer!

I missed out on the GoW series, but I too have recently dusted off my PS2, so when I'm done with Shadow of the Colossus and Vagrant Story, I might look into GoW. I've heard nothing but good things about the games.

Indeed it does. After the holiday rush I'll be picking this baby back up. During my rental period I got all the way up to Medusa in God mode. Came close to beating her the day I had to bring it back but it never happened. For anyone who has beaten the game, how much longer do I have to go?
