Hi all, I just purchased a Gamecube Logic3 Arcade stick with the intention to use it instead of a standard GC controller for some VC games, as well as Metal Slug Anthology. It's quite a nice stick, but that doesn't matter as the Wii doesn't seem to register that it's connected at all. I tried it on my Gamecube and it works fine there, I've spent a while fiddling with it to see if there's anything I'm missing but I can't figure it out.
I'm left to conclude that it's just incompatible with the Wii.
Strange.
Is this the only GC controller that's incompatible with the Wii? Has anyone else experienced problems like this with 3rd-party controllers on the Wii?
Good thing it wasn't expensive, I guess I'd better dust off Ikaruga (and the GC) to justify what I paid for it...

This strikes me as odd... since the Wii contains the Gamecube's system architecture, it should technically behave exactly like one when it's running a GCN game. That should theoretically include peripherals... I would think.

I had a wired iCon brand GCN controller that worked just fine. I'm no help.

Have you tried it with multiple games? GameCube games on the Wii?
