Freezing BOOP!

yeah allright i was whooping my friend in redsteal. we had only been playing for about half an hour. Im about to kill him with a grenade for the millionth time then all the sudden it freezes and its making this loud beeping noise.
what dose this mean? is it just a normal freeze or is my wii screwed?
ive had it for a while and this is the first time somthing like this has happened.:confused:

Neato, mine did that during Timesplitters 3. I just reset the power.

Mine did that on Metriod Prime 3. I just got corrupted when i restarted my ship was landing and it did that.
