What was the first character you chose to play as on SSBB?

Mine was Mario he's all rounded and one of the easier characters to get to grips with whats yours?

I don't remember at all, but I think it would be a safe bet to assume it was either Link or Ike, two characters from a couple of my fave series.

I wanted to play as Sonic to but I soon enogh found out that he had to be unlocked :( but I think I soon enough went onto Pit or Kid Icarus to some and found his technique easier to pick up.

The FLUDD is pretty useless, I'm glad Luigi kept his down B attack. Although the vacuum mighta been cool.


Anyways, I was in such a hurry to unlock Snake and Sonic I went straight to Subspace Emmisary. So whoever you begin with in that was who I began with...I think it was Mario.

I started out with Mario and found him to be very different, so I jumped ship to Olimar till I got use to the altered game mechanics.

When i first turned on brawl, I didn't really know where to go so Zi went to single player and selected training. It turned out that wasn't the brawling I thought it was, so a bit later i found out you have to go to group, and slect brawl. I then selected mario, Probably because of my fanboyness.

You didn't know? Is Brawl your first Smash game? That could have something to do with why you are good, because the old one's mechanics don't mess with your brain.

Anyways, on-topic, I think my first character I played as was Kirby. Even though he was only my best character in N64 Smash, you gotta love the little guy.

I owned Melee for a bit and played the original once. I unlocked just about everything in melee, but I was a pretty bad player, all my friends beat me. Then For some reason the game just disappeared, and I haven't seen it for a few years. Then I picked up brawl on launch day, and found the controls very easy to use, and I was all of a sudden good, and started beating all of my friends (and you guys)

If it has nothing to do with SSBB characters, then why did you post it in here? That's spamming. There are other threads for Bomberman Blast. Hopefully a mod will come and remove these posts. :)

Semi On-topic @ Shoe: Yeah, that's pretty interesting, although I wouldn't say you were bad at Melee if you really got everything in it. It takes a lot of skill to beat the last two events on it.

I used Pit my first time since Ness was an unlockable character. Ness is still my favorite character, but I will occasionally use Ike, Sonic, and Snake.
