Is anybody else as excited for this game as I am?? I can't wait for it!!
I mean, just look at what they did with Final Fantasy III. The game is absolutely gorgeous, and also retains the difficulty that was in the original NES version (for all of you ROM mongers out there ;). I also think that the Final Fantasy remakes got a little easy, so it was refreshing to have difficulty with this one.)
Just Final Fantasy IV Advance was a very decent remake of this classic. With the updated graphics and the extra dungeons (Which add a VERY nice layer of difficulty and depth to the adventure), I had a field day with it. It would be awesome if the DS version not only kept these new dungeons but added even more!
I am glad to hear that the touch screen will not be as usable as it was in FF III, as trying to work the menus with it could be dead frustrating sometimes, hitting wrong buttons and whatnot. Hopefully the 2 screens will be put to good use however.
Final Fantasy IV was and continues to be one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. With one of the better stories of the series, terrific characters, and awesome plot twists, it is a true classic, and I hope the DS does it justice!
