I've been interested in that game since it first announced over a year ago. Yet, there aren't very many screenshots or videos on the interwebs, and I don't know very much about it.
Anyone else even so much as following the game?

Yes, Chibirobo - as well as Zelda and Tingle - will be the best games for DS.
I can't wait for them.
The Gamecube Chibi-Robo was a great surprise.
I hope the DS version can hold up to this.
Must buy. 5 Stars.

It looked good at the time, but unfortunately I had neither the money nor the proper system itself to play it on. :)
Theoretically, I could just purchase a copy and play it on the Wii, but...eh, with the new one coming out, what's the point?

the point is, chibi robo for gamecube is a very good game, that you should have played. at least rent it, so you can see for yourself.

it's about 40+ hours long.

and it's unique (lovely characters, RPG style: make people happy to collect happy points so you can level up and get more HP, a bigger battery)

fun (dozens of weird characters and situations)

and it's got kinda intelligent adventure puzzles and surprising good ideas throughout.

the graphics are pretty and ok. textures are a bit blurry. sound and music is awesome, easily one of the best on the cube.

skip didn't make chrono trigger. Maybe some people that did went and formed skip but at the time it was square.
I liked Chibi-Robo and it was great fun the first time through, but it got old quickly after you found everything.
The DS version better rethink the formula because unless it gets 9.5+, I'm not getting it.

chibi-robo is a game that lasts 40 hours. for 10 euro it's more than acceptable.
and chibi-robo is lots of fun the first time through! pick it up if you see this cheap.
anway. i bought it for 50 euro and still i'm very pleased with this game.
chibi robo ds gets my 40 bucks the day it hits the shelf.
and yes, Skip are people from chrono trigger.
not all but a few. look at the credits. its a whole lot actually.
I'd love to play that other more classic RPG style game from Skip: Giftpia. but it's JP Only.

I have heard that Chibi Robo on the DS is called Park Patrol and you dance for flowers to bring them back to life, the graphics dont look very good on the DS

Yes, I played Giftpia through once. It was great, quirky, and fun like Chibi-Robo. Translations are no fun though. :lolo2:
Did it really take you 40 hours to complete Chibi-Robo?
I got all the stickers and beat it in 20.

I am looking forward to Park Patrol, but it doesn't seem like NoE is releasing it here (Much like Tingle isn't being released in NA). I'll import it sometime if it doesn't show up soon.

I never ended up getting Chibi-Robo on Gamecube, I might get myself Park Patrol sometime, it depends on reviews and video's really.

Yes, I've played 42 hours until I got every sticker.
I loved the game so I didn't rush and there was plenty to do anyways.
Actually, if it wasn't for my girlfriend I could have never completed the game 100%.
The bandage costume... I've never played a game where you have to die to get an important special item! What a nasty surprise! This totally rocked! ^^
The thing with the doorstops.
Who would have thought you just have to sit on them for a few moments??
Yes, it's fantastic coz Chibi's puzzles are not as obvious as like in Zelda TP...
This game got plenty of new stuff.
All these little twists make Chibi-Robo so much more adorable.
It's a game with so much detail and where different styles of playing is needed.
The sidequest to get the last sticker had such a funny ending, there was no movie in the last 3 years I have laughed so hard. Hilarious and unforgettable! :D
You must be genius or dumb to beat it in less than 20 hours for the first time!

Now here's a bit of irony for you. According to the latest e-mail I received from Nintendo, Chibi Robo is exclusively available at Walmart in the US. Hmmm. Yeah.

Ditto for me
Er, why is it so bad if it's exclusive to walmart?
(what kinda store is walmart anyway?)

*sigh*
Nintendo is, more or less, promoting green thinking with the game, and it's sold exclusively by a company that is certainly not known for caring about the environment, or anything else but money, for that matter.
