I'd like to think this would make it onto the VC. Having the first two Earthworm Jim games on my SNES, I can safely say that these are indeed some of the quirkiest platformer/shooter/other? games I've ever played. If you haven't expierienced these games first hand you better get it when it is available. That is, if it makes a showing on the VC at all.

It would be better if it was hte megadrive version because the snes one had a level cut out I heard

The first was a great game, but the second was hindered by incredibly annoying gameplay (Seriously, screw that hot air balloon level). I'm hoping for the first, but the second can stay the hell away.

The Megadrive version would be better, as the intestine level near the end was cut out of the SNES.
I would be a bit annoyed if they do release the SNES one, it'd feel incomplete after playing the MD one so much.

Yes, but the SNES version did have redone music in some levels to make use of the more advanced sound on the SNES. If only they could... smush them together. :)

It's more or less the same music just better quality and a few different sounds. I think the best improvment is from the level where you have to wip Pete the dog. That level has huge differences in music.

Man i love this game! I have only played it on SNES though since i never had a Genesis/Megadrive. So i really dont care what version they dish out, as long as they give it!

I remember this as being one of the first superstar programmer games...Doug something or the other...the only other one is Raphael Cecco (sp?) of Cybernoid fame...

Ah memories. I was too much into Sonic the Hedgehog back then to even give Jim a try. Today, I m interested in giving it a go so I like to see it on the VC. :)

This I can say was a game I never get, I have the original Earhworm Jim (SNES) in mint condition standing in my bookshell and I've had it for years and years. And everytime I try and play it I just think.. well this is no fun. Maybe it's just me, maybe I should try it again, but now I'm scared, it always is a let down for me.
