So I ended up getting 6 tickets for the first NHL game to be played on UK soil...have friends coming from all over the UK, couple of old pals from the air force...

The only way it could be bettered is if it was Devils vs. Rangers...but that can wait for the hockey tour next year!

I was thinking of going to the D/K game, but the Vipers have a game on that day. And to be honest, I'd much rather go and see them for free.

I've never been into the Ducks, other than when I was a kid of course. I loved the Minnesota Mighty Ducks :lol:

Both games will be on Setanta NASN at 5 PM.

Also, both games are freeview. Meaning, you can watch them as long as you have SKY. No Setanta subscription needed :D

Tickets go on sale today at 9pm. Going to try and get over for the inaugural game but doubt it...can kinda imagine demand being high.

And it's not as if the Devil's have a team to challenge this year...can't believe they let Gomez and Rafalski go and only really brought in Zubrus (a centre who's never had a 25 goal season). Go figure...

Glad to see the Avs flooded with greats, rather than them all leaving us (Fors, Nieds, Drury, Tanguay etc... :x).

Sakic, Smyth, Hejduk, Stastny, Wolski, Budaj, Hannan, Hlinka (Steal of the century that lad), Laperriere, Liles, Skrastins, Brunette, Clark etc... :D

Glad we've kept Leopold and Guite too.

Zach Parise my friend, thats who. Hes the future captain of this team. This 9 game road trip is going to be rough, but this is Brent Sutter's Devils', we will be playing playoff hockey.
Opening night tickets sold out in 6 minutes, Through Ticketmaster I got a single lower level seat behind the net in the Devils 2x attack side, there were no multiple seats available so me and my buds will be sitting all over the place.
I got 4 tickets to the first game against the Rangers at Pru Center to "welcome" back ol Benedict Gomez.
The only way to get opening night tickets would be inflated scalper prices on ebay, I just talked to this guy who bought 20$ face seats for 120 on SH, ouch.

Hopefully we can keep some of our talent. I think Stastny will stay because of his father being a Quebec Nordique. Wojtec though, how long will he stay happy on the thrid line?

Because he's a great player, but we have so many this season that we have great players on the third line. Smith'll hopefully stay since he's best buds with Sakic. I may have hated him last season for what he done to Wojtec, but I'm slowly liking him.

Hejduk I think will stay, he seems to be quite loyal and he seems to love it with us.

Boots, we've gotta keep him. He's gonna be big. He's gonna be real big. I'd like to keep Lappy too.
