Anyone else have these? Its nigh impossible to find anyone online playing them, and I would love to, say, play Doom on coop or deathmatch

Eh. I tried the trial versions of both, and I wasn't very impressed by either one. Doom has gotten very long in the tooth by now, and I still have the game on my computer, anyways. I also seem to prefer Sonic 2 on the VC. *shrugs*
Frankly, I don't think much of most of XBLA's offerings as far as old titles are concerned.

So when does Undead come to post about his love for Doom? Anyway, it was the first FPS I played so it is special to me. Wouldn't mind setting up some co-op either.

I thought I'd be tired of it within moments myself, as I play the originals on my laptop via sourceports a lot. Surprisingly, the classic unenhanced gameplay was still good enough to paly thorough yet again

Am I already growing predictable? Haha. Yes, I play Doom online frequently, but not on XBLA. That, at best, is Doom-lite. See, the real longevity of the game is on the PC. Seek out Doom software known as Skulltag and then see if you want to go back to the X-Box version. (for those who have it)

Well dang, my Gold ran out today. I didn't see that coming :(
Skulltag doesn't like working on my laptop, and I haven't bothered with Doomsday, since thats one is just graphics rather than the gameplay that GZdoom has.

Yeah, I would agree with you on Doomsday. I have it only because certain wads run on it. Too bad Skulltag don't work. You might've seen they're working on a new version (or is it out already?). Maybe that one will run on your laptop.

When I get a new Gold membership, sure.
The one thing I hate about online play on the 360: Noone ever plays the lesser known games, and online play usually has achievements tagged onto it. Overlord, Doom and Sonic 2, all have online play but no players. This saddens me immensely. *shakes fist at Halo 3 and COD4*
