Does anyone think that Disney will allow nintendo to release some of there old games on VC. Personally im not a big fan of Disney but i do love some of there old games. Castle Of Illusion, Quack Shot and Lion King on Megadrive are some of my favourite disney games.

Do you reckon they will ever release any games on VC?

Its up to the 2 companies really. If Ninty wants them (Which I m sure they will), they ll proberly asked Disney if its okay.

We ve seen TMNT on the VC so far, so we know licenced games are possible.

It just depends on how much they're gonna pay.

disney games on vc would be awesome! young kids today need to experience the golden era where disney games aren't considered jokes. i remember my dad bought me a sega genesis so i can play castle of illusion and quackshot which made me the happiest gamer in the family. the magical quest game for the super nes is really good as well.

Yep. Those were the days you didnt need to be ashamed to play a disney game :D. Some PS1 games werent bad either (Hercules for example) but Castle Of Illusion i just have so many memories of that game.

I consider Alladin to be the best out of any Disney game. It also ranks pretty high on my all time favorites as well.

I'm pretty sure Disney rereleased some of their SNES Capcom games on GBA not too much years ago (I recall one of the Mickey Mouse games being one of them), so I would say it's entirely possible that they could hit VC.

Castle of illusion stars 2 disney characters. Mickey and Minnie. Minnie is kidnapped and mickey has to save her. The witch who kidnaps her might be a disney character but im not sure. Either way it was a great game.
Also i enjoyed lion king on the Megadrive/Genesis. I also liked alladin. I forgot about that. If no one has played any Disney games mentioned in this topic they should :D.

Even if it was less impressive technically speaking, World of Illusion was quite fun with 2 players.

I believe that Aladdin and Jungle Book were made by a pre-Shiny Dave Perry. Good games both. Also excellent is Duck Tales on the NES.

Ive never played Duck Tales but isnt that the same on Angry Video Game Nerd did a review for. The one where your the Uncle i think and and use a cane to attack. It looked cool. And AVGN said its a great game so i would want that to.

David Perry did indeed work in Aladdin, and supposedly also worked initially in The Jungle Book.

That guy did great things, in 2D.

Castle of Illusion was one of the scariest games ever as a little kid, imho

World of Illusion was the best coop 2 player game in history

I loved Aladdin! You get a giant sword and you can chuck apples at people. Good music too. Ling King was also pretty fun, but I found some levels very hard.

Duck Tales was definitely one of my fave games back in the day. I think I'm going to snag a copy on eBay right now, as a matter of fact. Don't let the kiddy licence fool you—it's a solid platformer.
