Any chance we might get Darius Alpha? I'd usually only download VC games if the original game is way too tard to obtain, so this one would be a definite download for me.

...Ask Nintendo?

What do we know?

You obviously don't know anything about it. So thanks alot for your reply.

Only Nintendo, Hudson and Taito are supposed to know, if it hasn't been announced already.

It's not the kind of info that would be leaked to anybody in these forums.

Thanks a lot again...I know the stuff you're trying to tell me, but I want to know if Taito is interested in releasing games for the VC (or did they already), if you think that special releases like Darius Alpha would ever be possible on the VC and if there maybe has ever been a rumour on it coming to the VC.

So your post was completely useless to me. It just tells me you haven't heard of anything, don't have an opinion on it and can't (or don't want to) tell me whether Taito is bringing games to the VC.

If it helps, Taito have put up Elevator Action and Legend of Kage for the NES on the VC, albeit only in America.

Was Alpha released on the TG-16 in Europe/America? If so, we'll probably see it =]

Taito released on VC:

NES Elevator Action (US)
NES The Legend of Kage (US)
NES Front Line (JP)

Since Taito is part of SquareEnix (they only released ActRaiser on VC)
we're not quite sure, what will come.

They're slow, but we're having hopes of getting more old classics like
Bubble Bobble or Space Invaders and of course many RPG classics.

At least they're onboard.

You weren't thinking of the Lufia games when you said that by any chance, were you? :)

EDIT: Oh, I see, you meant the 'Square' bit

I was when I read it. Lufia for the win.

And I see an odd connection between a certain obscure game and Taito (oh iNma... I think you know this one...)
