I just have to note that this game didn't exactly start as a Doraemon game, only the PC-Engine version did.

There was originally an arcade game known as Booby Kids featuring the blue guy, which got versions for the Famicom and GameBoy. While the PC-Engine port was made with the Doraemon license in mind, the devs modified this version to make it look just like the arcade, for an overseas release (changed the main characters and items and even re-added the original music).

They didn't bother to change Doraemon's friends or the trademark magic door that appears in-game, though. But besides that, it's more faithful to the arcade than its Japanese counterpart (shame about the lack of multiplayer).

Oh cmon, this game deserves at least 4. Heh, not like I'm buying it though. I'm just going off what I've seen.

Can anybody check if Nintendo removed the crosses that appear when you beat an enemy, please?

No, why do you not want the crosses? They are just there so you know that you can't dig there.

Who said I don't want them?

It's the Nintendo guys who don't want religious stuff in their games.
