I've recently realized that on the Classic Controller I usually use, the tops of my analogue sticks have yellowed! I know the same sort of thing can happen to old pre-owned SNESes and white plastic-things in general, but is this happening to anyone else's? It's only a minor aesthetic thing, but it looks really ugly in line with the rest of the controller's whiteness =/

This has happened to mine also, i think it is because of grubby fingers!
Lol
Even if you wash them it still seems to make a stain =[

It happened to mine but that was because I drew on my thumb with a gold pen and forgot to wash my thumb

Happened to mine, too, as well as to my nunchuk stick. Shouldn't eat cheesy poofs and game at the same time. :p

bah humbug, I thought Nintendo stopped using that cheap plastic that was easily ruined >_>. Ah well, looks like I might wait a tiny bit longer to pick up one so that it dosent look like an unwashed Simpson family member... or in other words, my SNES -__-

Ha yea it looks like my analog sticks have a horrible smoking habit as well. Same thing happened to my DS Lite shoulder buttons.

Wow you must have dirty hands to make a DS yellow.

Ha well the DS isn't necessarily turning yellow its just the shoulder buttons have a grayish tint to them now. All that furious snaking while Mario Karting really got the best of my DS.

A grubby joypad is a loved joypad.
One solution though ... try bunging a load of bleach down your loo and dangle the controller in while you flush. That'd probably get rid of the stains. :)

Haha why not just do it in the sink, or perhaps a wet towel?
