When i was younger, My friend had this game for his megadrive, i think it was an RPG, and you was able to talk to animals in the game, i think you got transformed into an animal or something i don't remember much, ring a bell to anyone?

Wow. Not providing much info there, dude; not really any at all, in fact. Was it a side-scrolling game or isometric? Remember any other details about it at all? The fact that it might have been an RPG and that you might have turned into an animal isn't really helpful.

Yeah sorry, I'm not so sure on being turned into an animal, but i remember that you could only talk to animals and you couldn't talk to any humans apart from at the start of the game.(not sure about if you could later on in the game, didn't get very far)

Not sure on if it was an RPG or not, or maybe it just had RPG elelments and was kinda like zelda..hmmm.. :/

The main character was a boy to begin with, i remember that much, dunno if that helps, sorry thats pretty much all i can remember.

Your description kinda reminds me of Little Nemo: Dream Master. I know its an NES game but you could be mistaking it for that.

The first thing that popped into my head was Terranigma, but that's for SNES.

I'm 95% sure it was a megadrive game, it wasn't a 2D side scrolling game, it was a drop down screen like Link to a past.

Soleil! That's the european name. In Northamerica it was called Crusader of Centy. It was a pretty good Zelda-Clone for the genesis.

I'm Pretty sure thats it, Nice work!

at least i'm 90% sure thats it, can't really find much info on the game to be 100% sure. anyway, Any chance of this getting a VC release? xD

Soleil! That's the european name. In Northamerica it was called Crusader of Centy. It was a pretty good Zelda-Clone for the genesis.

Looks REALLY good and REALLY Zelda.

And each version has different box art. I kinda like Soleil's the best though.

Guys, I've just been playing this for the last hour or so, and it's really good. Brilliant graphics for the MD, excellent music, and the combat's been cracking so far too. What an excellent find.

Would anyone believe me if I said that I was thinking of suggesting Soleil, not out of actually playing it, but of the little I've heard of it? But I thought I'd be no help, not having played the game. Pah, should have taken the moment of glory while I had the chance =P

It's great huh? I've heard good things about it. Have you played Story of Thor/Beyond Oasis iNma? How would you compare it to that?

Yeah, I have Thor on the VC. It's probably not as classy as that, and at times the Zelda 'homages' become a little too obvious, but it is, all in all, a really well-designed game that's a lot of fun to play. Let me get a bit further through it and I'll let you know more.
