Can the USB Keyboard be used?

I'm asking because I downloaded the ALESTE for the MSX and wondered if the Keyboard would work.

The MSX games were set up to run on a Keyboard but can also be run on a 2 Button Joy-Pad. Anyway, I plugged my USB keyboard into the Wii and to my amazement, the keyboard worked with the game (it might have satetd this is the manual but as I can't read Japanase, I can't tell)!

I was wondering if this was the same for the Commodore 64 Wii Games since the console is similiar to the MSX and the keyboad is basically the orginal controls.

Out of curiosity I hooked up my keyboard and tested all games I had, here's the result:

International Karate: No response at all
Impossible Mission: Keyboard is shutting down and doesn't give a response at all
The Last Ninja: No response but the game has great music

So the answer should be that it doesn't work for any of the present games but it should easily be implented if Commodore Gaming thinks it adds to the game somehow.
