Can anyone please ID this Megadrive/Genesis game for me???...

This is driving me nuts. A great game I need to find.

It was an action/adventure I believe, played in a third-person shooter perspective, could be a scroller in a 3D sense. What I can vaguely remember about the game was the very first levels were being played out on the ledges/sides of buildings, at night. I remember the player having to switch/jump from ledge to ledge shooting guys, then advancing round the next ledge or building to find another crop of guys shooting at the players character. Your character could have been a robot (maybe), not sure, armed with a gun or shooting arm, but not 100% certain. I'm not sure BUT when the player died, I think he had to resume the level from the very beginning.

I only had the game for a limited time & loved it. I have search the length & breadth of eBay's listings, gamespot etc, no luck...

Any ideas, Anyone???... Or just a guess even.

My first thought would be Corporation/Cyber-Cop, but that's more of a FPS, and the game you describe sounds more like an on-rails type shooter.

Edit: I didn't read your post properly. The first third person shooter that springs to mind is Dynamite Duke, but I don't know if you could move around in that:
