OK, so having wound everyone up on a separate thread about how much I hated Mario Strikers*, I know have a credit note to the value of 1x Wii game.

So, I'm looking for what else to buy. According to the review sites, nearly all games on the Wii have had about 7-8 / 10. So, with them all lumped together with roughly the same score, I'm looking for a bit of advice.

At the moment, I have (including games I've completed and traded or ones I took back;)):

Zelda Twilight Princess
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Excite Truck
Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Scarface: The World Is Yours
Mario Strikers
Big Brain Academy and
Resident Evil 4.

I was looking at Call of Duty 3 and Medal Of Honour Vanguard. I've historically found the Medal of Honour series really good fun, even when others have hated them, so is this worth a go? Or is Call of Duty 3 the better one? Or are they both great/rubbish?

I'm trying to avoid party games, as I've realised Wii tennis is enough for any party. :D

I've also really appreciated the pure arcade fun of Excite Truck, and am particularly enjoying going through trying to beat my own high scores, so something easy to pick up, hard to master would be great.

Any recommendations would be fantastic. :small-boo:

Also, if you wouldn't recommend buying anything else, and you think there's a real gem on the EU horizon, don't be afraid to say that either. I'm happy to be patient if you feel it's necessary.

Al.

* Please don't try and persuade me. I'm not buying it back, lol :D

I've been thinking about maybe picking up a used copy of Excite Truck, since I can return it if I don't like it. I've only played it a little bit some time ago when it was on a demo station.

You might be interested in Nitrobike (slated for this Fall). As for titles that are out currently, you've pretty much played all the better ones already...

Metroid Prime 3 shouldn't be too far behind, as far as the EU release goes.

I'm really enjoying it. It's like an arcade game in the home, and the 'steering wheel' aspect really adds to that. It's not the deepest game in the world, but it has plenty of moments where your heart will be in your mouth or you gasp as you're flying high over a forest trying to land on a path in the middle distance (you usually end up in a tree). Good plan to get it second hand in case a) you don't like it or b) you complete it dead quickly. And as I know you liked Mario Strikers, I'm guessing (b) is a definite option. ;)

Resi 4 Wii for me, followed by Smash Bros. Brawl. Not sure what my next VC puchase will be. Somewhere in there, I'll finally be getting a Classic Controller, and I've got a couple of 'Cube controllers on the way too.

Interesting suggestion. Anyone else enjoying/enjoyed Prince of Persia?

Also, Paper Mario isn't out in the UK yet, should I just wait? Actually, haven't completed the N64 version yet... Should probably do that first... :D

Well I would save your money for super Mario galaxy or super smash bros brawl. When Galaxy comes out I'm getting it and I'm trading in some games to pre order brawl. also Metriod looks good so I think you should wait.
