Anyone else thought Zant was cool until the before fight scene?

When he first appeared and easily knocked out both Midna and Link, he looked bad ass. Before the fight, when he started dancing like a coffee guzzled 5 year old, that bad ass opinion shattered.

I dont feel its pathetic. Its more like bodylanguage to relate to what he is trying to say. That or he is a whiney teenager.

If you saw the bad ass introduction, you'd understand my disappointment. Within that "dance", he acts like he lacks control, like he's just like a bratty, upset 3 year old.

The battle with Zant is the best in the entire game, IMO, so if he loses anything before it, he gets it right back during it.

I will admit, in some stages of the fight, he looks pretty bad ass, but he still looked cooler in the intro.

I wasn't that disappointed about it, it wasn't Ganondorf at least. If he started doing stuff like that I think that it would be a lot worse game ;)

Speaking of Ganondorf, the king of evil, gets distracted by a fishing rod, made by a 5 year old. Embarrassing? Very.

BTW OT but speaking of Metroid, I finally Got Zero the other day, it's AWESOME!

I now own all bar Super. So as soon as it hits the VC my collection is complete, until Prime 3 and the rumoured "Dread" come out :D

He's like a completely different person. In the intro, he's large and in charge. He's collective and cool and makes easy work out of both Midna and Link while hardly lifting a finger. He's the bad ass villain you've been craving. Then, he starts acting like a whiny 3 year old and you're like "WTF happened to the awesome Zant from before!?" I own them all except for Super Metroid and Metroid II, which I heard sucks.

It wouldn't be so bad if you were expecting that but Zant looked like one of the most bad ass guys in all of Zelda in his intro. Watching him break down like that after being so calm and bad ass in the previous cutscenes, it's an embarrassment.

Zant was insane. As such, it showed the general states of a twisted mind.

At first it was serious, enigmatic...but then he showed his true nature; a psycho, blinded by the power of a corrupted god and eager for revenge.

One of the best things from TP, it's the charm of it's characters, both Midna and Zant.

Now that I think about it, I like Midna's attitude. She acts like a rebel. She's not a kiss up to Link, she acts like a hard ass sometimes. Now that I think about it, I like that.

Yeah before i faught him i thought he was the last boss and would be very hard. but it turnd out he was a crazy little weakling but the fight was cool.
