...minus the shovelware, that is. ;) Sure, people have the tendency to knock the Wii for its games, but when I look what has already been released and might be released later on this year I really can't see where all these complaints are coming from... unless you're one of those people who are stuck to their consoles 24/7. To those folks I can only say one thing: get a life! :p

Anywho, these are some of the games I'm very much looking forward to:

We Love Golf, Sam & Max, Samba de Amigo, Wario Land Shake, de Blob, Fatal Frame 4, among others... and quite possibly some (so far) unannounced E3 titles by the big N

Couple that with WiiWare - let's face it, not every game is going to be top tier here - with such high profile titles as World of Goo, Mega Man 9, Shantae, etc. and there doesn't appear to be any shortage of good games to be had.

So what games are you looking forward to?

P.S. The Conduit keeps looking better and better with each update.

To be honest there is only one game that's properly confirmed for release on disc form that I'm interested in: Animal Crossing Wii.

Meanwhile on WiiWare I'm looking forward to Mega Man 9 and Eternity's Child.

The Conduit looks good but until it has a publisher I can't really take it seriously, and I'm seriously depending on some new 1st party and 3rd party Wii games to be announced at E3.

I think that even if no more games were released for the Wii this year, then it would still have been a good year of games for the Wii. Speaking only of games I'm interested in, we have Bully: Scholarship Edition and Okami (upgraded ports but not shovelware), then we have Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Boom Blox, and Wii Fit. Now include WiiWare (Dr. Mario Online RX & Toki Tori in particular) and some excellent VC releases (River City Ransom, etc.) and we have a good stable of excellent games. And it's only July, so we have a good few months of this to go—wait till E3!

Every system is going to have a lot of bad games and shovelware, but none of that matters if a system has the good games to give it foundation. The only people who have reason to complain about shovelware are the people who have the irrational need to buy/play every single game out there...

As the yogurt above me said, we already have many good games and it's only July.
Altough here are some titles I'm interested in:
Soul Calibur Legends (I really want to swing and cut enemies in total rage with my wiimote)
Star wars: The force unleashed (I'm not a big star wars fan, but this looks interesting)
Mad World (I don't know much about it except that it's really violent. It doesnt attract me because of that, but I'm guessing there will be lots of humor in it aswell, like in No More Heroes)
Final Fantasy CC - Crystal bearers (I liked the GC version and I'm having high hopes for this one.)
Baroque (A dark atmosphere(spelling?), great customization and dungeon crawling <3)

Thoose are the titles that I can think of for now.

Go Go, Captain Rainbow!

I would really love it if Captain Rainbow was amazingly awesome. haha.

"Yea man, I was a hard core Halo addict, but ever since I played that Captain Rainbow game I have been addicted to the Wii."

haha that would be funny to hear.

I'm looking forward to:

Harvest Moon
Lego Batman
Edit: Little Kings Story - Had the wrong name (Confirmed at E3 for 2009)
WiiWare (Sam and Max/Strongbad/Various other surprises as they come out)
VC Releases

And quite enjoying the games I haven't even finished yet like Dragon Quest Swords, Mario Kart or Brawl.

I'll look into other games as more info comes. I'm really hoping E3 throws out some surprises. Especially some new RPGs or Fighters, if we could be so lucky. But generally, just that companies would start showing support for Wii.

I'm seriously depending on some new 1st party and 3rd party Wii games to be announced at E3.

Well that didn't work out, now did it? :p

But anyway, I'm excited for a few games, four to be exact.
- Animal Crossing
- Tales of Symphonia 2
- MLB Power Pros. 08
- The Conduit
Other than that, I see a bleak horizon. :(
