This game was only released in Japan and I would love a taste of it (legally) so will it ever come. Battle Lode Runner is Japan only.

Nice avatar 8)
Well there's always a chance seeing as Battle Lode Runner has been released, isn't there. Let's just remain hopeful!
I got one of them on the SNES for £2.99 a couple of years ago, but I still need to get around to downloading the TG one!

They've released Battle Lode Runner just because it was in English already. They're in no way going to start translating anything from their Japanese versions.

And I would like to highlight a significant passage:
"We're open to games released in Japan if we can get them translated properly."
George Harrison senior Vice President Nintendo of America.
Did I read the word TRANSLATED?

He's talking up his butt, of course they won't translate anything themselves. That would cost them money and some effort (which isn't precisely the philosophy behind the VC).
The only Japanese games they're releasing are those that were already in English, as you can see.
PS: A different thing would be some games that only need a few words to be translated, but we're talking about a complex game that would need a new title screen and a lot of text to be re-formatted.

Hudson Soft are putting a lot of effort into VC, with a weekly game, translated ones and more, so I certainly think at least they will translate some more games.

You realize Battle Lode Runner was translated and is now on VC?
If you had actually read the previous messages you'd have realized by now that Battle Lode Runner has always being in English.

Battle Lode Runner had various words in Japanese on menus and stuff.

You know, if a translated game would happen, I'll come and throw it in your face.
You're free to decide not to trust what an official figure says, but you're not allowed to say "it will not happen"...well technically you ARE allowed to say it, but people will think you're a nerdy little lonely kid who begs for attention.
And most important, you should not say a thinkg like "he's talking up his ...". Tell me, are you his andrologist?
Because if it's just filth you think people produce from their mouths, I would say the same about you.

Of course they won't tell you "The VC is a great way to release game after game without even touching them", but that's basically it. So it's not likely that they'll translate any text-heavy game from a while ago.

Sorry, I'm too used to talking to adults.

No, it never did. Please don't make up stuff, etc.

I just checked out a ROM and you're right, it didn't. I could swear it was said somewhere though, so they must've been wrong.

This kind of irony is just bad presentation.
People in forums share ideas and opinions, it's not a toilet wall where you can draw genitals and stay there luaghing at people complaining about it.
Having people being kind and helpful towards you is the best way to enjoy a community.
You should change attitude.

It wasn't irony. I didn't know anybody could get that offended by the word "butt"!
I'll say "third eye" from now on.

It is irony.
No one is offended by that word. Which anyway you wrote down again. Smart guy!
It is irony because you started with 'Sorry'.
It is irony because you sayed 'talking with adults' without knowing the age of who you are talking with.
It is irony because it states the opposite of reality: kids get excited swearing; adults talk.
And the worse is that you didn't care of anything of these things, and tried to fool me around saying that 'someone may get offended by that word'.
I'm not offended by the words you say, I'm offended by your attitude, and the lack of any interest in communicating: all your posts contain lapidary sentences, speaking what seems to be the only truth.
If you feel that smart, help people then, don't just tell them things.

Said the pot to the kettle.
Dude, we were having a normal discussion till you started getting all upset.
