Only thing is though, I don't like 1 and didn't mean to DL it.
I can't stand 3D Mario games., I only wanted to see how many blocks N64 games would take up, and when I went to click "NO" I never realised that "NO" and "YES" swap over at a certain point so I clicked "YES"

I love it, but the level i'm on now is VERY annoying. You're in a Castle (You'd never have guessed would you? Lol) and it's full of Monkies, Skeletons, Red Skeletons, Meduse Heads and Axe Armors. It's doing my head in.

Mario and Sonic + 3D = awful games.
Mario and Sonic + 2D = phenomonal games.

I have one of them: SNES Mario.
This is mainly because, except for Mario Kart 64, I own or used to own all of the others on other formats. Twice, in the case of Zelda, and I don't even like the first game. I can't quite understand why so many people are buying it.

Would someone mind posting the list? Gaming websites are normally blocked by my company's firewall.
Much obliged!

We're surprised to see that the original Legend of Zelda has made it into the top five, rather than the critically-acclaimed Ocarina of Time, which is regularly heralded as one of the greatest games of all time.
Well, pretty much everyone already has a copy of OoT (whether they have it on the N64 or on the Cube) But I don't think that many gamers now owning a Wii have the original Nes cartridge of the Legend of Zelda.
I think it's kinda obvious...
EDIT:: Here ya go:
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Kart 64
Super Mario World
The Legend of Zelda
Wow, you can't really blame Nintendo for putting Mario in every game they get their hands on eh? That man is waaaay to popular :P

Ah yes, it will do that. Levels 13-15, the way to the Grim Reaper is incredibly hard. Good luck!
Mario and Sonic + 3D = awful games.
Mario and Sonic + 2D = phenomonal games.
So very true. The only 3d sonic or mario game I enjoyed was Mario 64.

I just miss Legend of Zelda.
That game is too tedious and confusing for my tastes.

you just need some practice and memorize the enemies :)
I'm 1 level further and I absolutely love this gem. I never played it before. The music is just Ace. I downloaded all the midi-files and listen them allot at work.

I'm pretty surprised Donkey Kong Country or OOT didn't make it, an overall chart of every game released would be awesome, maybe with figures too!

I have none of them. I own all original cartridges of those Marios, and I've got LoZ on Collector's Edition and on a NES Classic.

I'm with Mendez; I can't stand Mario 64. Although I loved Sunshine, so I'm not completely turned off the idea of a 3D platformer.

Part of the problem is though, that whenever I lose a life right at the start, I’ll then lose the other 3 intentionally so that I have another chance with 4 lives.
And after 10 minutes of making a mistake and dieing, then dieing another 3 times (Which when you don't want to die, it happens easily, when you do, it takes forever!) I get very bored.
Back onto SM 64.
I'm in the same boat as Kevin. I did enjoy it the first time, and I enjoyed it on the DS. But, I wouldn't rate it anywhere near as high as everyone else does. The game is flawed and it's just not all that fun after a while.
This is pretty much every reason as to why I dislike Mario 3D games. I may have forgotten some.
The camera sucks. The 10 levels which you have to replay over and over again is crap. If Banjo Kazooie can let you get more than one jigsaw piece in a level why can't Mario do the same with Stars and Shines?
The games are too easy. They don't have real Mario elements anywhere in them. They're quite boring after a while and replay ability with these games is practically nil because of the fact that to beat a level 100% you have to do it 8 times (And more with Sunshine). After beating the same level 8 times, who really wants to replay it and do it another 8 times?
I put Mario games on and do a random level, once! I don't find the urge to do Forest Of Illusion 2 8 times in a row.
I don't like the boss fights, I don't like the game play all that much.
Some things that I really hate. Blue Coin collecting for Shines, BORING! Yoshi dieing without eating fruit. Yoshi dieing when he comes into contact with water. F.L.U.D.D!
Had this discussion not to long ago on another forum so I could easily just copy it over, lol.

That game is too tedious and confusing for my tastes.Same here. I always just find myself going round in circles for ages too while trying to find out where the next dungeon is, and the game is just so vague about everything...
It's amazing how it evolved into what Zelda is now though, isn't it.

Oh hell yes! Although I'm enjoying LttP and can see why it's considered a classic by some...it can be as tedious as the random battles in FFVII at times! I only wish there were massive 'over here' signs for where the next dungeon is...it would save a lot of mooching around the map. And a lot of time.

Super Mario World has 60 odd levels, this has 15. And I've probably played through the game 15+ times now with the VC, DS and N64. I don't see how someone could hate such a great game!

Had both. Never got to beat the 64 version with all 120 stars. My copy had a huge glitch in it that stopped me from getting one star. The one where you have to re-unite the Snowman with his body. The body wouldn't go on.
I had several people (Who also had the game and had done this) try and none of them could do it.
So that's why I bought the DS version. Sure enough, what I done on the N64 version worked first time on the DS, thus proving that my copy was glitched.
I could either get it new or second hand for the same price, but my bro didn't want to stand in the queue at the new place, so I had to get it from the second hand place.
By the time we got there we might as well have waited. I'd have been happier since it'd have worked. It also kept wiping my data and then unwiping it. Sometimes all the files would be empty, so i'd have to press "Reset" and then they'd all reappear again.
It's not doing the same level 8 times though :?
Quick question, how many Stars are in a single level?
7 (I obviously mistyped and said 8. But still, 7 is alot). Sunshine... 11! 11 Shines per level!
I don't want to play Dry Dry Desert 2 11 times when I play SMB. 3 and I don't want to play Pipe World 4 11 times either.
I also don't want a horrible camera system infuriating me all the time. That's possibly the biggest problem with 3D Mario games, the camera.
He didn’t say he hated it just thought it was over rated.
Thank you.
