Just all sorts of retro gaming tracks. Anyone have any legal ways to get them?
Either a shop that sells CD's or a place that allows you to DL them?

I was actually wondering this too. I'd love to download (legally, of course) the Ocarina, retro Mario etc. tracks, but I don't know where to get them.

For the more popular series like Zelda, you should be able to find official soundtracks in almost any online CD store with a big selection (here is Ocarina from Amazon). Lesser known stuff will of course be more difficult (if not impossible) to find through legal means.

A lot of soundtrack CDs are unavailable outside of Japan and importing is the only option.
I buy soundtrack CDs from http://www.yesasia.com and http://www.play-asia.com but there isn't a huge range of retro game soundtracks. Sometimes though, companies release compilations of retro game music which are almost exclusively Japan-only but usually available from those sites. Beyond that there's always ebay. I think this is legal...I'm not sure. You can take it off if you want, just don't slap me with a piracy warning.
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php There's anime, too. Most old games can be found in the MIDI section. |

A pretty big compendium of video game MIDIs. I can't really help you on official mp3s, but there is a lot of great music there. ocremix.org Always a wonderful place with tons of great remixes and a very professional community. All free. There is great stuff to be found here.
