Default Anybody re-buy a favorite game?

If you're like me, than some games you just can't get enough of. With the Wii's Virtual Console, it makes it so easy to buy and begin playing some of our favorite classics. Even though you may already own them for their original systems.

What games have you done this with, and what games do you plan on doing this with?

For me, I re-bought The Legend of Zelda, even though I have the Gamecube Collector' Disc. This is mainly because I like the save-state function, and using the NES-style Wiimote control is more fun than the Gamecube Controller. I also re-bought Super Mario Bros, F-Zero X (I'm not lugging my N64 to college ), and Super Mario World (But this is because the battery in my SMW cartridge doesn't function properly, so it doesn't save ANYTHING)

I plan on re-buying Super Mario RPG as it was farking awesome, and that's it for my list for the moment, although i'm sure i'll come up with more later.

Only SM64 for me, because I lost my N64 copy and wasnt fond of the DS version. Considering getting Lylat, MK64, F Zero X and SMB when the Stars to Wii points thing comes into play.

I own original copies of both Sonic 2 and SoR2, and I'll probably end up getting SMW when I get a Classic Controller. If they release the original (and best) Super Mario Kart, I'll be getting that too.

I said it before and I'll say it again.
Do NOT rely on the stars to points conversion, when the test was put up accidently there was a 5000 limit of 1000 point cards, and it was 1 per customer.

That's assuming they do it the same way for the real thing. I'd have thought an electronic conversion would be easier (and cheaper for NoE) than sending out cards.

They don't send out cards, they just email you the code. (I got some for 789 stars in the test)
But think about it, look how many stars people have, then look at how much money Nintendo would lose if they just handed out points freely so people use up every single star rather than buying them.
I'm 99.9% sure it's going to be the same as the test

You never know, maybe they ll sort it, maybe they won't. No loss for me, since I have the N64 games on the old N64 and SMB DX. Just thought rebuying them would be the lazy option if I wanted to play em again. XD

My sega broke awhile back so I re-purchased sonic 2 plus I got super mario world because I don't have it for my SNES and its more expensive to buy it at the used stores around here so I got on vc. I used to own mario bros but I gave it to my cousin along with my NES so I re-purchased that, how could i resist though? Super Mario bros is a classic.
