I like both but if I had to choose... subs. English subtitles with Japanese voice for the win!

Depends. If they've put the proper amount of effort into a dub, like with Neil Gaiman's rewrite of Princess Mononoke, then I have no issues with it, but generally I prefer the subtitled versions.

I'm not really bothered...I like both. I always put subs on at the same as the dub when watching anime dvds anyway. Its kinda funny when somebody is speaking normal in the dub but the subs show you the character was actually meant to be swearing...

I actually prefer both. Dubbed because im to lazy to read subs sometimes.

Subs because they usually are sometimes better than the dubbed translations =p

Both. Subs, because thats how it aired in Japan and how it was intended. Dubs, because they can sometimes improve an anime (Example, Excel Saga)

I don't care so much about the "authenticity" of subs versus dubs, but I find that companies rarely take the time to do the dubs properly, so you get a half-arsed script and bored-sounding voice actors. In other words, I have nothing against the concept of a dub, but they're often so badly done.

I don't watch much anime but when I do I would only watch it with subs because the dubs are usually dreadful, and I like the Japanese language, it's more authentic and sometimes a character can come across completely differently when speaking English.
