As far as I know, there hasn't been any development on a Wii version yet, but from the sounds of it there will be one, sooner or later.

The Wii edition will be the best! I herd you can make your own furniture and send it to your friends. and people can go to your town when your not there! also if you check your operations manuel in the wii messege board it shows a picteure of an animal crossing messege.
