Default Amiga games

Is there any chance of seeing Amiga stuff on the VC now that usb keyboards are able to be used on the Wii. They were on Floppy discs which hold about a meg.

You can get a new buggy version of The Settlers for DS.

Worms is also available for SNES and N64 and Gamecube (and DS) ((and GameBoy)).

Ah, but the Amiga versions were so much better in many cases. While I'd be happy with SNES or MD versions of Flashback, Worms, Lemmings, Monkey Island, Sensi Soccer, Chaos Engine, Turrican, Cannon Fodder and so on, they're not a patch on the Amiga versions.

In answer to the original question, I do hope so. The Amiga is probably my favourite games machine ever, and current generations are missing out on some great games. Not only those that got ported to other systems, but the true originals too. Superfrog, Damocles, Alien Breed, and others are superb games that would be great to see on VC.

Amiga FTW!!

Super Frog!
Pinball Dreams / Fantasies
P.P Hammer
Magic Pockets
Lotus II
Toki

So many classics on that system that I'd love to see.

I preferred Lotus III, but yeah, I agree on the rest. Pinball Fantasies is the best pinball game ever. Fact.

Pinball Fantasies is indeed one of the best Pinball games out there, totally agree.

One thing that I always remember about Lotus II is that if you ever use any cheats and beat the game. The game will literally tell you to replay the game without using any cheats. Heh, wish more games these days employ such a system to encourage people to play games properly..

Some great games listed there. Some great news if you fancy going the emulation front:

Team 17, who every self-respecting Amigaphile knows made the best games, have been kind enough to release all their disk images into the public domain for the time being, so if you fancy going the emulation route; download a copy of WinUAE, and head to http://www.dream17.co.uk/downloads.php?cat=1 to download all your favourite Team 17 games. Happy days.
