If you're talking of Commodore 64, the news was posted ONLY trhough the official Norwegian Nintendo site.

But after some time the news simply vanished from that page.
All the other sites on the Internet (I'm thinking of Wikpedia) removed the reference.

So....as I sayed, I hope they just had the news coming out too early, and decided to hide it until Nintendo gives them the rights to publish the news.

This is my positive thinking, I think you don't want to listen to the negative theory.

For Amiga....it'is just in our dreams, no one ever talked about it, but technically it's possible.

The C64 thing was a misunderstanding by Nintendo Norway. They thought the Impossible Mission release for Wii was the original C64 version, but it's a brand new Wii release.

I hope we do see C64 and Amiga though. There are games there that don't deserve to be forgotten, and they won't be emulated anywhere else (although Sensi Soccer is going to XBox Live ).

Bad, bad, bad, bad news.

Can you link where you found the explanation of the "incident"?

Really disappointing.....and I'm disappointed also for the lack of professionality by these guys, how could they made such a mistake?

I'm almost certain that there was originally talk of a VC release of the original and a new remade Wii version of Impossible Mission. I believe it was a news item containing an interview with the guy from System 3, printed in Retro Gamer magazine. I think this was back before the Wii was even out, though. I'll see if I can find it this evening.

There was, though, a Sega Master System version of IM, too.

Thanks.....really disappointing.

If the same mistake would have happened with Saboteur (the new one is NOT relateed to the first 2), I would have been very angry, today.

I've been also trying to contact Clive Townsend recently, I wanted to ask if the original Saboteur series may revive but I didn't get any answer, Durell Games did answer me however, but of course they said: "talk with Clive".
