Actraiser or Super Mario World ?

Another one of my VC game Q's.
So which is better, despite them being the same price ?

Kind of an impossible comparison. But there are better questions to ask here. 1. Have you played SMW before?
2. Have you played Actraiser before?
I'd say if you haven't played SMW before or if you haven't played it to death like im sure most people have then go for Mario. I've never played Actraiser before but its pretty much critically acclaimed in these forums so it sounds like you can't go wrong there. If you haven't played either then it depends on what kind of game you are looking to play. One of the best platformers ever or an Action/GodSim that is universally accepted as an amazing game.

Well i haven't played either, but my vc library is full of mario games and I thought I should try something different. I want other people's oppinions to decide which 1.

Well if you're looking for something different then it sounds like ActRaiser is right up your alley. It's not everyday you see an action/godsim game, especially one that has a huge cult following. If youre looking for something diff I would pick AR but somewhere down the line you have to get SMW as its a game that shouldnt be neglected.

ActRaiser is good, but it doesn't even come close to Super Mario World. You seriously need to get it, it's the best 2D Mario game made, and one of the best games ever.

Well my plan was, with the 2400 points i have, was to buy,

The next N64 game that comes out (if its good) - 1000 points
Galaga 90' - 600 points,
SMW or Actraiser - Both 800 points.

That wll then leave me with 0 points and 3 more games added to my collection. Its just Actraiser or SMW ??
