Have you ever read a post and you had no idea what it was about because of all the abbreviations ? well, not is your chance to help your fellow gamers to understand what you are talking about. Post your known gaming abbreviations here so we know what they are.

Commonly Used
lol - Laugh Out Loud
brb - Be Right Back
bbs - Be Back Soon
afk - Away From Keyboard
nvm - Nevermind
nm - Nothing Much


Gaming
VC - Virtual Console
N64 - Nintendo 64
SNES - Super nes (super nintendo / Super famicom)
NES - Nintentendo Entertainment System
SMS - Sega Master System
SMD - Sega Mega Drive
MD - Mega Drive
ONM - Official Nintendo Magazine
LOZ - Legend Of Zelda

Please Post your commonly used abbreviations in here to help others have a better understanding.

I think his point is that any of these abbreviations could easily be looked up on the net.

FC, SFC, SGB, GBC, NDS und GCN...

There are many missing, even if it only covers our beloved Wii Console.

What about SD? USB, WiFi or WLAN?
