It boosts evasion (or rather doesn't hinder it) making your agility raise more often, having one shield equipped on all characters for a while will also help the agility a lot. Agility helps a lot more than defence lategame. Your evasion % is your speed, agility just boosts evasion, so wearing armour will lower your evasion a lot making you get hit more and attack later in the round. |
