I love Nintendo, they are in my heart and they always will be, but I'm really disapointed with what they've been doing with the VC for the past few weeks. The VC is supposed to be about re-introducing old classics to gamers, and giving games that were overshadowed in the past a second chance. I played Super Ghouls N Ghosts for the first time in nearly 7 years thanks to the VC, and played new experiences such as Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, Sin & Punishment and DoReMi Fantasy thanks to this service. I'm really thankful. It's convenient and mostly affordable.
But as of late, I've grow tired of seeing less worthy classics, and more mediocre filler. Where's the excitement of finding out what new releases will come to this service? It isn't gone, because Nintendo has it with them. Nintendo has Super Punch-Out, Super Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, EarthBound (Please, just release it already. Mother fans deserve it, they really do.), Super Mario RPG (Although this is likely to be remade for DS) and so many other incredible, anticipated games that are taking forever to be released. And 3rd Parties have other things to offer as well. Really. Just put them out, and we'll buy them. We will give you our money.
But, as always, I'll keep waiting... |
