Regardless, Dawn of Souls still carries over all of the improvements from the previous versions, so it's still better than the NES original. Plus, it was the Dawn of Souls version that added the MP system, as well as added several other tweaks and stuff. So yeah, the GBA version is still an improvement.

Dragon Warrior on the GBC and FF2 on the GBA and PSP. Sorry, I was in a hurry.

That's why I didn't list them before.
As a side note, Dragon Warrior on the NES was THE most tedious, frustrating, and unrewarding RPG I have ever played, and I never want to play another game like it ever again. It's just one of those games that can break your spirit, and I commend anyone who can tolerate it. The Gameboy Color version fixed everything that was wrong with the NES version, and it's actually very enjoyable.
