You're right about All-Stars, though. That game didn't change anything for the better except maybe the graphics, and personally, I didn't even like that. 
Funny, I was even going to mention those as examples of good remakes, along with Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy 2, and...I forgot the last one. All are really good games that really managed to improve the gameplay and story in the right areas so they were more fun. |
Good point. All of those things were new features from the NES game. However, seing as Dawn Of Souls is a port of a remake of a port of the original, it didn't add much (first was the NES game, then the PS1 remake, then the Wonderswan port, then the GBA port).
Dragon Warrior...You mean the GBC one? Which port of FF2 are you talking about? Haven't played either of those games myself.
