Still it's not like you're taking a copy from someones house or the shelves of a store. While it may be illegal I don't see why someone should feel bad or immoral for emulating a game they own when the company in question haven't offered an alternative on VC/XBLA/whatever. It's a lot more convienient for me to play pokemon blue on my ipod touch than take my gameboy on the bus to uni.
