Without all of kawaiipikachu's holy (and misspelled) indignation... it's true that simply owning a copy of the game you're stealing is not enough to make it legal. Some people use it as a kind of moral justification of their crime, but I think if you're going to steal something, you might as well just man up and admit that you're doing so.
