Back on topic, it would be nice to see No Mercy on VC, although I doubt it'll ever happen. Plus, the game engine has aged quite a bit and pales a bit in comparison to the Fire Pro Wrestling series. |
Its not realy fair to compare the two though. Fire Pro is all 2D pure wrestling simulator wheras No Mercy is a 3d Sports Entertainment type wrestling sim.
It would be better to compare it to something like the 3D King of Colloseum games or the modern WWE games, the latter of which it certainly still easily beats imo.
Been playing it recently on the PC as my N64 is in England and I find it to have aged very well in all departments other than perhaps graphics.
