nintendo luckily goes with the time, the bigger and more advanced the games are, the more profit they make
in other words, i think they wont take a risk to lose money by making an old ported game again and again, but instead of that making money of the old one, with VC release

That would be a new game altogether. And they will still port Chrono Trigger because that's what they've been doing with Final Fantasy and all of their more popular games. Even if they make a new Chrono Trigger, they'll still port this one, and they'll still make a hell of a lot of money from that port.
