No, I'd say they'd be worried about
CT on VC cutting into the DS's version's profits, since the games are basically the same. Why spend $40 when you could spend $8? But the VC and DS versions of
FFIV are completely different, so it's not a simple matter of just getting the VC version to save money, since folks who do that are missing out on a completely different game. Most
FF fans would get both VC and DS versions of
FFIV anyway.
