So I have a couple of questions. For the 4-6 people here who have this game already, what are your complaints with it so far? Are the above criticisms true? Is there any kind of leaderboard / high score feature? Unlockables for replay value?
Finally, the only ways to get the game where I live are for $59.99 + tax in stores or for $49.99 + tax (would end up being $57.49) at Amazon. I found a guy selling his copy (apparently his wife didn't like it) for $40 even. Do I do it? |
This game is an instant Gem on the Wii. I recommend it and the Handcannon highly. I don't know why it would be so hard to find in Canada. I don't really have any complaints. It's a very funny game and if the liberal dropping of F-bombs isn't your thing then you can skip the cutscenes. There are highscore tables and a slew of unlockables. As well as an unlockable mode for beating the game and another mode for beating that. Get it any way you can.

Every ad I've seen for this game (and the back of the box) makes prominent mention that one of the characters is a stripper. Apparently, she "has two deadly weapons", har har! I wish I was making that tagline up.
Despite the fact that the makers had so little faith in their own product that they felt they had to resort to "boobies, lol!" to sell the game, from what I hear, it's actually pretty good. If you can get it at $40, I'd say go for it.

Actually, Varla Gunns is a humour device mostly, as someone who has actually played the game through, its obvious that the game doesn't need the 'boobies' card to suceed, it does that on its own merits.
