I like it even more after playing through the overrated Twighlight Princess. 2. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Gloriously atmospheric, beautifully designed game that again has only improved in my eyes since the emergence of its Americanised sweary, utterly puerile sequel. 3. Geist
Criminally overlooked, gloriously inventive First Person Adventure that evoked memories of Omikron and an attempt to do something generally original. Multi player looked decent too. 4. Resident Evil 4
Awesome reboot of the RE franchise that showed what many of us already knew the GC had the raw power to beat off the PS2 and the Xbox if placed in the right hands. Great atmospheric tension thorughout. 5. Eternal Darkness
Unfortunately didn't hold my interest long enough to finish it but still a fantastic idea with some well implemented "sanity effects" and a decent attempt at storytelling. Will get back to it one day. Honourable mentions:
Luigi's Mansion, Killer 7, PN03, Resident Evil Remake, |
I agree with most of your list. I'vve never played Killer 7 but it's one of the few games Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw (from Zero Punctuation) likes, so it must be good.
